Abyss world, free

Dive into the deep with your song

Muzie turns your track into a dive. Each section takes you deeper, from sun shafts and silver fish near the surface to a whale in the dark and anglerfish in the trench, and every drop sets off a bioluminescent shockwave.

Go under in four steps

The length and shape of your song decide how fast you sink.

Step 1

Add your track

Upload the song. Ambient, downtempo, lo-fi, chill electronic and slow builds suit the dive, but anything works.

Step 2

Choose Abyss

One of four worlds. You can play the same song in Space, Neon City or Jungle instead.

Step 3

The song is mapped

Tempo, beats and drops are found and each section becomes a zone of the ocean.

Step 4

Press play, share the link

It plays live in the browser, on phones and computers, from one link.

The dive, zone by zone

Each part of your song is a different depth. The descent is slow on purpose, so you feel it.

Intro: just under the surface

Sun shafts through the water, rising bubbles and a school of silver fish.

Verses: kelp and the night reef

The first verse swims through a kelp forest. The second reaches a night reef where glowing tube worms and polyps light up with the spectrum of the song.

Choruses: jellyfish and a bloom

Open water fills with a jellyfish swarm, then a bioluminescent bloom, with plankton bursting on the beats.

Breakdown: the whale

In the deep, a whale glides slowly past. Then, on the stop before the final chorus, there is total darkness.

Final chorus: the abyss lights up

The darkest part of the ocean comes alive with light, and drops send a bioluminescent shockwave through the water.

Trench and the climb back

Anglerfish lures glow in the trench, then the outro is the long climb back up to the light. A glowing lure ahead of you follows the vocal all the way.

The dive plays live from a link. When you need a video file, Muzie music videos turn one photo into a singer performing the song across scenes, with karaoke captions, in portrait or landscape.

Abyss questions

Before you go under.

Yes. Abyss and the other three worlds are free for everyone and use no tokens.

Ambient, downtempo, lo-fi, chill house and cinematic tracks fit the slow descent best. Heavier tracks work too, the drops just hit harder.

It suits calm music well, because the dive eases slowly between zones and the deep sections are dark and quiet. It still reacts to the beats, so very busy tracks will make it busier.

Yes. Fish, jellyfish and plankton react to the beats, the night reef glows with the spectrum, and drops set off a bioluminescent shockwave.

From just under the surface to the trench at the bottom, then back up. Each section of your song is a deeper zone, and the outro is the climb back to the light.

Not today. It plays live in the browser from a shareable link. For a video file, make a music video instead.

Yes. Move the mouse or drag a finger to steer, and hold to boost.

Yes. The visualizer reads the music itself, so instrumentals, ambient pieces and mixes all work.
